This recording contains compositions and improvisations on gongs, bells, singing bowls and other metal percussion instruments. The pieces vary from slow and meditative to more rapid rhythmic constructions. All of the music was performed live in the studio on acoustic instruments with no overdubs. These instruments are presented here in their purist form with a minimal amount of effects or studio manipulation.

Gongs have a spiritual and reverent quality that is otherworldly and it was my intent to try and capture that on this recording.
